Hello!

I'm Melissa Longoria-Goonan a master’s of Education candidate in Applied Digital Learning at Lamar University. Go Cardinals!

I bring more than 20 years of experience in higher education to my graduate work. I'm currently work in the Office of eLearning at Del Mar College, supporting digital learning initiatives and faculty development. Previously, I coordinated the College’s peer tutoring program, where I helped expand academic support services for diverse learners.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) and has I have an extensive background in marketing and communications, having worked for both TAMUCC and the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce. Earlier in my career, I also served as a field producer for KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas, gaining hands-on experience in media production and storytelling. I'm  passionate about leveraging technology, communication, and instructional design to create meaningful learning experiences.
